Very loud recording of an arcade i went to recently. Unfortunately wasn't alone so i had to cut it down quite a bit. It's in crusty mono quality because of my phone (moto g power) and its recorder app (ez voice recorder) but i suppose i can call it lo-fi if i wanted to. So i will!.

Recording of builders preparing a construction site near my house for new development by breaking up a parking lot with a large jackhammer or percussive drill. Recorded from the next lot over, so there is a fair amount of ambient noise (e. G. , from nearby traffic), but the bits with the machine cut through that pretty well.

Just one emergency vehicle's siren, going from soft to loud and then tapers off slowly with some talking in the background. Beeps at the beginning are a crosswalk signal.

Stereo recording of the main printing floor of a printing firm in berlin/germany. Recording was conducted in the rear of the hall, printing machines are running and idling, some workers' voices can be heard in the background. Recorded with a zoom h2n, mics set to 90° dispersion. Interesting (but painful) sounds made with a zoom h2 (front mics, low gain) connected to a laptop via usb. The signal was piped to old creative sbs250 spekers with 16ms of latency (i'm using jack audio connection kit and linux). That's how my feedback loop came into existance. I turned up the volume and started to move the mics around, geting a lot of different sounds ranginf from simple tones to strange lfoish sounds. The sound touches 0db one times, but is rather undistorted (at least digitally). Recorded with audacity @ 48khz/16-bit and saved as flac.
